Indisposed

Hello out there,

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been gone.

My family contracted COVID a few days before Halloween. It was probably the worst bout of sickness I’ve ever been through.

In May I received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. However, when I got the virus I ended up with the same symptoms as the rest of the adults in my family, vaccinated or not.

I’d like to think that it was a variant that the original vaccine didn’t protect me from. What I do know is that I have been suffering for over a month. I want to encourage people to wear their masks. I’ve seen the tests and masks reduce the particles that are projected when talking, sneezing, etc.

I have an appointment for a booster shot and will be taking that. To be honest I’m exhausted. I want this to go away so I can actually focus again.

Obviously, Walker’s Path has been put on hold. I’ve been using what little focus I have on my book, Adrian. I’m close to finishing the 6th draft for it. I need some fresh eyes to read it in its current state. Hopefully, my friend who owns an editing business will give me someone new on this next run.

My free time will be greatly reduced soon so I need to get this book done before that.

I’ve also been going through some major depression issues. My therapist is doing his best to help but I’m having trouble breaking from the spiral. COVID certainly hasn’t helped.

I want to give you more from this weird brain of mine but I can only do so much. I’ll try and do my best.

In the future, I want to start streaming at least three days a week. I started a new story about a futuristic world where the main character is thrown into a VR game. There’s still a lot I need to work out to make it interesting but I’m sure you and the people on twitch would be happy to help.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and stay safe.
