I finished the first draft of my manuscript, now what?

This has been running through my mind a lot lately. Sure, I decided on another book to write but I’ve only gotten one page into it.

Next year is going to be very different for me. There are a lot of unknowns coming and I’m not sure what to do.

I’m going to have to find a new place to live which is pretty scary. Especially if I want to keep living in California. I’m going to have to find a roommate unless I can find a really good job.

So you can probably understand why I have a lot of anxiety right now.

I’ve been doing DoorDash for a while and I’ve been having problems with the app giving me orders.  So an income that I thought was reliable is becoming unreliable..

Throughout the almost 2 years that it took me to write Dark Offerings I didn’t get a single patron.  Maybe the book wasn’t good or wasn’t good enough that people wanted to pay for the content.

Whatever the reason I’ve made zero income from such a huge work. It doesn’t feel like wasted time because I really enjoyed writing it.

Maybe if I had put more time into Talking Offerings and interacting more with you guys it would’ve went better.

The past is the past though, so I’ll just move on to my next endeavor.

As you can probably tell from the cover, my next book is going to be about Molly.

I’m thinking the majority of the book is going to be mostly in the game unlike DO. However, I think the book is going to be shorter.

I wrote my first book Adrian, which was 80,000 words in around six months. When writing that book I wrote almost every day most of the day. I won’t have that luxury anymore though.

I’m in the middle of doing the 48 Hour Film Project this weekend so I need to head to sleep.
