Hello out there,
It’s been a while. I’ve been in a dark place fighting my demons. Video games have always been a crutch for me so if I’m playing them I’m likely avoiding real life.
For the last week or so I’ve gotten a reprieve and my brain suddenly felt well enough to write again. I’m still not a hundred percent but I’m feeling better.
This week I released a new Chapter of Walker’s Path. I release the story on several platforms the most popular of which are the Transgender fiction sites.
Writing has been going so well that I finished a chapter, a 2-3 page Intermission and four or so pages into Chapter 10. (and still going)
I wanted to talk about the big reveal from Chapter 9. If you don’t want spoiler I suggest clicking the “Walker’s Path” link above to get to the story.
Spoilers start now. The reveal is that Walker is a very good looking girl. I’ve been hinting at this the whole time. There were little conversations that Walker’s has had with the girls that kept poking at the idea. I think the first one was Alyx telling Walker that he was pretty. Then there was a second time with Sam in the bathroom. The break up between Joy and Walker was suspicious but the reason she broke up with him ran deeper. As Alyx was being tossed out she told Walker that he was prettier than Joy, which, I thought pushed the subject enough that he needed to ask about it.
I would have brought up the issue during the break up but then I thought about how hard it must have been for Joy to fess up that her boyfriend was better looking than her.
As for why Walker looks the way he does. He has a medical condition that I plan on writing about in the future. Let’s just say that the pills he is taking are not working.
The other big thing that happened in this chapter is that the night is over! It took nine chapters but it’s finally over.
Spoilers over.
In the future I want to speed things up a bit mostly because I doubt that Walker will have another night so essential to the story. Do expect things to slow down when there are integral parts though.
I’m really excited about the reception to the Intermission and next Chapter of the story. Thanks so much for sticking around and seeing this story unfold.
I hope you have a wonderful week,
Katherine
